Net flix?

Hey y'all! I remember reading in one of the older gift threads about Netflix...someone suggested getting a subscription for their parents. Reading more about it, it actually sounds like a great service that might make a good gift for several members of my family (and maybe even me!). Any of you use it and like it? (and do you get the 2-movies at a time or 3 at a time service?) Thanks for any info. This could be the gift that saves Christmas! :clap_1:

Everyone I know who has it, loves it. The only thing I have heard to the negative, Katieblue, is that if you want a just-released movie, you can get put on a queue for it and the turn-around time is a bit slower. But the convenience of Netflix as a whole overrides that bugaboo. We'd get it if the video store wasn't such an easy walk for us (and a good excuse for evening exercise). The foreign film selection is amazing.

Katie, I use it and love it!!! I get the 3 at a time. When you pick your movie queue and they send you the movies, you can watch and send them back at anytime and they will send you the next movie on your list...I just love it, because I am not tied down to a certain time that they have to be back! I think it is a great gift idea for anyone!!!

We love it! No problems- easy to use! And putting movies in the queue is like shopping! It is especially great for people who like progrmas other than movies, like the PBS series and specials, etc.

No, you can stagger them, and as soon as they receive the movie you sent back, they send you another one in the queue!!!!

And they send you an email notifying you that they have received the movie, and let you know the next one is on it's way!!!! It is great!!!!

Katie Blue, glad you like my suggestion. When I was subscribing to NetFlix, I used the 3 movie choice. If you stagger your return to one per day, you can pretty much have the new ones come every day. (about a 3 day turn around, sometimes 4 day.)
