We are looking for Retail Sales Associates to provide excellent guest service and sales support for our business! Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will definitely stand out! You will help identify client needs, answer questions about our merchandise/provide product information, and make recommendations accordingly. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or questions will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar 30A’s profitability and success. Responsibilities

• Greet and direct guests
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features and pricing)
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Manage exchanges of merchandise
• Coordinate with the Retail General Manager and Restaurant Management to provide excellent hospitality (especially during peak times)
• Assist guests with Restaurant and general area information
• Provide guest feedback to the Retail General Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services (e.g. website features and new arrivals)
• Open / Close gift shop according to standards of operation
• Complete guest purchases accurately through POS system, according to standards of operation

Skills

• Prior work experience in customer service, retail, or working with the public.
• Register (cash/credit processing) and basic computer skills
• Basic math skills
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and some holidays
• Reliable transportation and time management skills

PART TIME and FULL TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE - Looking for dependable, energetic, personable people with good communication and multi-tasking skills. Retail and Sales experience is a plus, but not a requirement. Candidates must be 18+ years of age. Part-time will average 20 hours per week, full time will average 35 hours per week.
