I'm also adverse to the "debit-up-front-pay-out-later" aspect of the electronic alternative.

That's what I object to the most. It's not fair. I mean, if you make a deposit on a Friday after 2, it's not credited until Monday after 2 (or this week, until Tuesday since Monday is a holiday). But if you pay an online bill at the same time, it gets deducted immediately even if they don't cut the check for 5 days.

Since I seem to be spending half my time at the computer, I may as well do my banking from here - right?

Do some of you bank on-line? Any problems you've come across? Benefits.

Specifically, we were thinking of putting $$ into savings (CD) from someplace like -ING.

I could check on a message board like Kiplinger's but that wouldn't be near as fun.

GB does all of our banking on line, including bill pay. She loves it!
