well said. the percentages for the wealthy have never been better. I have never understood the middle/lower class individuals giving this situation a pass. my favorite is taxing everyone at the same rate under the euphemism that it is "fair". it's fair alright if you are wealthy. a huge swath of america pays no taxes because they earn very little. many do without basic health care, have no bank accounts, no savings, no retirement, and a government with a tin ear to all but lobbyists representing corporate monolithic interests who are only concerned with the quarterly numbers. ah, but we have the tea party shouting that it's all a spending problem. how nice.
