Parking/Boardwlk in Miramar Beach

I haven't heard a lot about what happening on Senic Gulf Drive but heard that the construction there is to make more parking between Surfside and Whales Tail but also another boardwalk like they put near Pompano Joes. That thing near Pompano's is TERRIBLE!! It has completely ruined the view from the bike path and road. I hope they aren't going to take away the same view from Surfside to Whales Tail.

I'm with you on this one. Granted the old parking on the shoulder was chaotic and somewhat dangerous but it also was easy access to the beach and provided a great scenic drive. I guess the boardwalk is supposed to be an improvement and eliminate parking on the shoulder. The addition of the railing eliminates the view also.

The whole strip now is fences and locked gates.

Surfside still has that "Private Beach" sign on the renourished beach. :angry:
