County is taking bids to widen certain parts from the two lane to a four lane divided Hwy. I would have guessed the project to go further up north than described....

This still makes no sense if you have a 2 lane bridge and section of highway between the four laned sections.

This still makes no sense if you have a 2 lane bridge and section of highway between the four laned sections.

While the bridge is a bottleneck, it is not near as much of a bottleneck as all those people turning between the bay and Freeport. At least making that a three lane would speed things up considerably. And the same when you get north of the by-pass going through Woodlawn.

Why stop there, why not a multi-million dollar flyover exchange similar to Bay County?
