Responsibilities:
The Intern is responsible for assisting with PR/marketing projects under the direction of the supervisor. The Intern works closely with and supports the needs of the supervisor on behalf of a variety of clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ø Assist with client research, including:
o Identify and review news, media clips and on-line coverage of client/industry
o Assist with monitoring competitive coverage
o Secondary research to support media advisories, bios, and conference reports
o Assistin identifying targeted media contacts/audiences
Ø Assist with design projects
Ø Assist with monitoring and management of social media channels on behalf of clients
Ø Assist with writing, including press releases, articles, brochure and newsletter copy
Ø Participation in brainstorming sessions with the supervisor
Ø Assist with preparation of reports as directed by the supervisor
Ø Assist with coordination of events and/or press conferences as directed by the supervisor
Ø Other tasks as assigned as directed by the supervisor
