Recycling bins are back

[Lisa C]

This is the location just off 331 to the right of the South Walton Courthouse Annex. The new bin style is much easier to use and looks like it will hold more. They still have the cardboard bin too.

Got this email from the county this morning:

We should have them all out by the end of the week with the exception of the Rosemary location. We are having an issue with a lot of vehicles blocking where the trailer was parked. So I am not sure if that one will be placed back at that specific location. We will take the “suspended notification” off the website when all the trailers have been put out.

Is there anywhere to recycle glass?

Is there anywhere to recycle glass?

No, there's no market for it. The Shard Shop used to take solid colored glass, but I don't know if they do anymore.

Is it actually worth it to take plastic to the trailers? I heard it was thrown away for same reason.

Yeah, it goes straight in the dump with the rest of it. This way I feel better about myself though.
