Redfish Lake

Does anyone know if there is a public place to launch a kayak on Redfish Lake? It looks like a nice quiet place to paddle.

There is not a public launch on Little Redfish Lake, but there is one on Big Redfish Lake. It is not really a launch, but there is a public access and it is mostly cleared out and you will not have a problem putting in a kayak. The access is eroding a little bit so watch your step. Also, watch out for the sandspurs which are mostly around that little washout on the trail. You can park at the street (very sandy - 4WD needed unless you park a little further down.) I will attach a map and mark the location of the public access. There was once a sign noting the public access, but I think it is now covered with bushes. The access is adjacent and on the north side of the new monster 3 story house with carraige house which is under contruction.

As I always say, please help keep Big Redfish Lake clean ;-)
