Shorty's in Grayton

We had not been to Shorty's for a few months and we realized that we have been missing out on this little gem in our area. The shrimp po boy was great...on Gambino's bread with med/large shrimp, not those tiny things that come on most po boys. The remoulaude sauce was very good. A mixture between the mayo type and the Arnold type. Then there were the perfectly cooked fried crab claws, also served with the remoulaude sauce. The hush puppies were moist inside, crusty outside and tasted great. Can't wait to return.

Iris - some of the best seafood is at Shorty's! I've had the most delicious fish dinners... and fish sandwiches...

agreed! our VERY favorite lunch is the fried fish sandwich with awesome onion rings. dear husband adds the outstanding gumbo. shorty's is too often overlooked!!

Glad to hear. I understood they were having staff changes, as when I went it was not as good as prior. I look forward to trying again!

LOVE the mac & cheese at Shorty's! AND last time I was there they were serving crinkle cut fries - so had to order those too! Those are hard to come by in restaurants these days!

They have really good drinks and music there also.
