FYI they are sold out. I can go outside and make one of those in about 3 minutes with a saw (much less than $24).

Save your effort people. Don't listen to him. I'll make one for you and sell it to you for half price. $11.99 + shipping....

Charlie Brown Christmas Pathetic Tree? I am reminded of PT Barnum. What did he say? "There's a sucker born every minute." :floor:

ah, but would yours have "bendable branches [that] allow you to make it look just how you want, super pathetic or just kind of pathetic.", as the ad says? Heh. Just kidding. Buying a commercially-produced Charlie Brown tree from a national chain store is pretty up there on the Irony meter.

SJ, I'm with you, any trees I've ever had were in pots, planted after the holiday. Call me a humbug, but nowadays I usually just decorate the largest house plant I have, and am quite happy with that.

However, when I get a moment I will post a pic of the dogwood tree that's in my house, that just so happens to have ornaments, decoration, lights and mementoes hanging from it. I found it down in the woods during the holidays last year, stripped the dead leaves and brought it in. I saw no reason to take it down as it's so beautiful and striking, especially with uplighting. Floor to ceiling with lots of branches. I hang different stuff on the tree depending on the season and my mood.

In college I had a big, old battery jar with some big crazy sticks in it that I'd decorate every year.

I FINALLY finished the main tree today!!! The other trees will be a cinch, they are small and I don't have to do too much to them (just the lights and a little supervision), my kids will decorate them. I have a really small one I put in the office since I'm in here on the computer all the time (Sowalin)! Now, I think...................... I better start shopping!!! :rolling:
