Hey all
here's a heads up. friday we got the official call that the legislature turned down buying a newer plane to spray with and with the budget cuts for this year they are closing the state's Dog fly program on june 30th. but the airforce already has plans to spray and be based out of tyndall and possibly eglin and some of the local mosquito district directors had a meeting with them and were told they can use them as well. from what i heard escambia, panama city beach, bay gulf and franklin counties are definetly interested, havent heard anything about walton or south walton yet, just letting you know that if and when you see a bigger plane (C-130) spraying it's no longer the state but the "airforce". they say they probably wont be here until september or whenever the dogfly's get bad
