Steve Jobs RIP 1955-2011

[Miss Critter]

When I heard the news of his death, though not unexpected, I felt like Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original Star Wars, when he said, "I feel a great disturbance in the Force." His vision will be missed. The world needs more Steve Jobs.

I hope we all who have young children, grandchildren and all those of a young age understand all that Steve Jobs has done his life to pave the way to greater learning than would have ever been possible without his vision.

iSad? I was jsut told that our first famliy computer was an apple. Who knew?

Most of my generation first learned computer programming on an Apple II - schools were able to get them through grants or at discounts, otherwise we wouldn't have had any computers.
