Spring came in with a bang for us this year! But what a glorious day today. 65 degrees with a clear blue sky and sunshine. A most welcome sight. Under a freeze warning for overnight though. Weird weather. I cannot speak for all the state but Memphis usually gets missed with most of the severe weather as to tornadoes, other than the funnel cloud supposedly Friday. We get our share of thunderstorms though. But it seems lately that Northwest Tennessee towards Jackson and the Nashville, Tennessee area seem to be getting the worst of the storms. I think the riverbluff diverts alot of what is coming our way! It hit 80 degrees here back in March and we usually do not see those temperatures that early. That combined with a approaching cold front and the warm moist gulf air is what I think fueled both of these systems.Sorry guys, no offense! Love it down there. When the storms hit near us Sunday night, my husband sat at the computer and I was watching college basketball. We are so used to everything staying north and south of us we sort of ignored it!
