today i stopped in at molly caroline's in seaside. after speaking with the manager (lisa), i learned that the store carries lovely bracelets that are being made by local todd sachs, currently battling pancreatic cancer, and his wife colleen coffield sachs. an article describing their venture recently appeared in our local paper. it is my understanding that a portion of the sale goes to pancreatic cancer research, the most underfunded cancer research. my dad passed away from pancreatic cancer in july of last year, and i can tell you firsthand we need to find a cure! i'm hoping that todd kicks cancer's butt, and i hope all of you sowalers will help by purchasing a bracelet. thanks!

Thanks! We've met Todd a couple of times before, so when reading in the Fall that he had pancreatic cancer, it touched our hearts. He's a great, warm person.
