TDC Asks for Public Input - Huettel/Kellogg properties

You are so right Goodwitch. The outside consultants the TDC uses are our worst nightmare. The PR firm is a disaster. They really do not understand our area. Locals provide them with much of what intellectual content they have, then are not financially compensated. They get thousands of dollars to do whatever it is they do. We would have increased heads in beds if they hadn't done anything the last several years just because of the phenomenal growth that was going on. This problem won't be solved until the TDC hires more consultants, publicists, photographers, etc. from the fabulous and talented pool right here in Walton County. You are often not appreciated in your "own country." Do love some of the local TDC staff.

Didn't the building that the Huettels used for their store have some historical significance? Or was it a replica?

And isn't there a pet cemetery on the property?
