Texting bill introduced by a Republican and killed by a Republican

[Arkiehawg]

Makes since to kill the bill because it doesn't cover everything from texting to picking your nose to picking your butt!

Repubs, she is one of your finest obviously.......

Well, South Florida Rep. Ellyn Bogdanoff (R-Fort Lauderdale) killed the bill today for that reason.
"There are a number of things people do in their car that is distracting," she said. "The question is how do we treat these distractions?"

Yes, there ARE other things you do in a car that are distracting.

But since this is something that has been identified as a major risk factor and is something other states have successfully banned, it would logically follow that Florida should also ban it.

I though Republicans just voted AGAINST bills, and do not introduce them to the floor? Now you're telling me when they do introduce them, they kill them right away. Great.
