Why do people sit in their cars and trucks with their engines running while waiting in the car rider line at ECMS and Butler Elem? Turn your engine OFF and roll down your windows. They sit there for 15, 20, 30 minutes stinking up the air for everyone else. It isn't even hot outside. It seems the bigger the vehicle the more likely they are sitting with their engines running too! It makes me so mad!

Be careful - I almost got biatch slapped for suggesting kids could ride the bus and solve part of the traffic and gas issue.
There is a problem. My son has to get up at 5:15 to catch the bus at 6:15 for ECMS. The bus ride is over an hour long and on the way home it is 90 minutes! He was getting home after 3:45 every day so now he rides in the morning and I pick him up in the afternoon. He now gets home at 2:30. The middle school bus loads up in the afternoon and then goes to the high school and picks up HS kids and kids from Seaside Neighborhood middle school (who are buses over there). It is not a good system.
I am sitting here in the car rider line now and I would say over 75% of the cars are idling their engines.
