Just read where a bike rider was struck by a car on 30A by Big Daddy’s Bike...Out of area.... anyone have current status?

It appears by the article I read, bicyclist crossed in front of a vehicle and was hit. It also appears both were locals.

Local on bike turned in front of another local, alcohol not a factor. Biker in critical condition. Driver tried to miss him but couldnt.

So it turns out Big Daddy’s Bike did not hit them, they weren’t on spring break, no one was wearing a Jacobean costume, and no one from out of area was involved.
Hope the injured party has a full recovery.

"
WALTON COUNTY — A 27-year-old bicyclist is in critical condition after crossing directly in front of oncoming traffic Tuesday.

Charles Ryan Binford of Santa Rosa Beach was riding a bike west in the north shoulder of Scenic Highway 30A near Blue Mountain Road at 5:35 p.m., according to a press release from Florida Highway Patrol.

Binford tried to cross the road from north to south, directly in front of a Jeep driven by 52-year-old Todd Tardugno of Santa Rosa Beach. Tardugno swerved to the left, trying to avoid hitting Binford, but was unable to do so, the report said.

The vehicle and bike collided.

Binford, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, where his health status was listed as critical, the report said. "
