I don't understand why universities boot people if they don't make tenure. If the individual is bringing in grants, why not just let them work on a salary basis?

Nasty nasty nasty. At this growth rate, it'll take over a decade to fully recover.

This is going to be a very long slog forward.

If we keep having Administrations and Congresses as overtly hostile to small businesses as the current batch, it will be very long indeed!
