Vacation home owners avoiding other taxes?

Since what you do ties into sales tax, and since a good portion of that sales tax goes back to the county, maybe you guys can start checking into that for the rest of the citizens so that everyone is paying their fair share and all.

I'll defer that to my buddies at DOR. I have my hands full worrying about the tax that goes back fully and completely to the county.

Sorry for the delay in response but I had to get my Chelco bill to see what you were talking about. And guess what. No sales tax on my bill. Just the Gross Receipts Tax. So what does your says as the type up by the account number? I am curious as to why they are charging you sales tax and not me. Maybe they recognize your mini-motel for what it is.

Great. DOR lets you go back 36 months so make sure you get all that you are owed.
