What is the official name of the small green chameleons?

Speaking of those little green things...Does anyone know a good way to keep them out of your house?! They have a tendancy to run in my house everytime I let the dog out or they sqeeze through cracks in our screen doors etc. I'm so afraid they're going to get in my bed at night! EEK!

Just wondering if anyone knew a good way to keep them outside!!

I'll take a little green thing anytime over the snake I found in my guest bath one morning ..luckily, it was just a little garden snake. mr. dd couldn't bring himself to pick it up, so I did and relocated it to it's garden home.
