I'm celebrating NYE in SoWal this year and I want to know the best way to bring in the new year 2010!

Please share your past NYE experiences in SoWal... (restaurants, weather, fireworks, bars, parties...)

You must go to the Red Bar if you have never celebrated NYE in SoWal!!!!!

We used to do one of those package deals at either Bud & Alley's or Caf? Thirty-A. Those are great, but now we just like to relax at home. We cook an Asian-styled meal for dinner. Then hubby and I watch football, daughter and her friends celebrate Eastern Time NYE at Red Bar, then they come back to the house and celebrate Central Time NYE with us. We do fireworks on the beach and have champagne. Sometimes we heat the pool and spa and drink champagne in the spa. Love it!

Most funn NYE was at a party of a certain SoWaller that is memorialized online.

If you go to Grayton Beach, make sure your life insurance is up to date. If you enjoy fraternity parties you will love Red Bar.
I agree with BR, NYE in SOWAL is best done with friends at home.
