We saw the most bizarre scene this past weekend. A homeless vet on the corner was holding his sign and watching as 6 women from 3 different cars attended to a kitten that had simply run out into traffic. It hadn't been hit at all. They completely ignored a fellow human being for a kitten that probably spent the handout on nip.
