You guys are very kind to put up with my post-trip blathering.
I took some pix on my little digital but have not yet uploaded them, need to do some weeding out. I did get some good pics of Carcassonne because as I said, it was so early and chilly we were all alone there.

I don't know when I will see the kid again, so it was good to be able to take this trip.

Not a bit! I loved every word, made me want to go back in the worst way. I didn't visit that area, but Toulouse sounds wonderful and beautiful.
Carcassonne is one of those places I remember studying about in French history--nasty story, nasty name, beautiful place!
