Wife and I just returned from three wonderful days at the Beaches of South Walton. We stayed in a great 1br 1ba apartment at Gulf Place, VRBO 226819. It was very large, roomy, large covered balcony with limited gulf view and outstanding location. Upon arrival on Monday, we had a late lunch at Smiling Fish Cafe, food, service, and people were great. Had pizza from Amore's for late snack, again outstanding. Tuesday morning, spent time at beach, water as clear as we have ever seen, but, cold!!!!!!!!!!!! Early afternoon at outlet malls, light lunch at Panera since dinner was at Red Bar. We had blacken grouper over grit cake covered with spinich. Best meal ever at BSW. Wednesday morning back to beach, then to Pier Port. Back to beach afternoon (nice nap), then Stinky's for dinner. Again, food, service and people outstanding. At night, I sat on balcony listening to roar of ocean, doesn't get much better than this. Thanks to all the great people who work very hard everyday to make the Beaches of South Walton the very best vacation spot ever.
