SoWal Soiree In October

Well since BB drunk dialed me ;-) graciously offered Watersound clubhouse (is this on the beach?) and persuaded me to post this thing, I'd say she heads up the committee. ;-) I must have had a brain fart when I agreed.:biggrin:

If a Grayton beach bonfire is the preferred location, what's the back up plan if it rains. I imagine the Red Bar would be very crowded on a Saturday night.:idontno:

If I come, I think I will dress as Cher and tell people I am 30gAy.
 
I probably shouldn't make requests yet since I don't know if we will be in town for that weekend or not- we may be in the weekend before, or the whole week. Depends on the house hunt expedition this weekend.:blink: :shock:

So what went wrong here? I ask nicely for a bonfire and now I am voted in as a party planner? I will need a committee to delegate to.

I have gleaned some new and useful info. Beachbummet is a gull? I thought so at first (bummet = feminine, although I thought it would be bummette) and then some one told me Bb was a buoy. Come clean here! dd....are you saying you are coming down in October??? Oh joy! :clap_1:

I am still waiting to hear from my guest about that weekend. She would like a bonfire.

I think Kitty and BB would make a FINE committee!!!!:clap_1: Just tell me when and where and I will drive the 9 hours to be there....:cool:
That is not my fall break weekend...but I am coming any way!!!!

yes, if allifunn can drive 9 hours for a weekend, i can do it too--+3 hours!

Marshmallow, weinies, and beach crap would not be good ideas near a fire with people holding martinis :eek:

I will be glad to co-host this soiree with THE Kittay!

* RO are you going to set up the bonfire, or do I need to get one of my guys to do it? I will be glad to just let me know. He will get the permit, set it up and have it going when we get there, and clean up after.

*Everyone needs to BYOB and bring a snack or weenies or whatever that want to eat. Also be sure and bring your weenie roasters!

*Make sure you all bring your own beach chairs. I have a bunch of them I can bring so let me know who does not have one.

Is a good time for everyone 7:00? I will arrive early and make sure everything is under control.

I think the best thing to do if it rains is The Red Bar. What do y'all think:idontno:

This should be too much funn!
