Thinking about a trip to SoWal soon?

DRAT! And I already have the plane ticket. Oh well, I'll make the best of it. I hope I don't get bored. I'll bet that $20 special 3 course Fall/Winter dinner special at Cafe 30A won't even lift my spirits when I'm there...;-)

:lolabove: Same here!

How is the ocean this time of year? We are headed down there this weekend and I was wondering what the ocean temp. would be? Is the ocean still warm enough to swim?

Actually, I don't know because I've never been to SoWal in early October. I usually get there in November for a fall trip. I'm looking forward to finding out. I'm assuming the pool and ocean will be comfortable.

It's so horrible. All these beautiful butterflies all over the beach and around SoWal knocking into you, and the water is around 78 degrees and air temp low 80's no humidity.
I just don't know how we will stand it next week.

The number of butterflies this year really is incredible. I don't remember noticing them so much in the past, but was standing in Old Seagrove today and really did have butterflies knocking into me.
