River Otter - first of all - I adore you. second, thank you for starting this thread. I was going to do the same, but will use your sweet thread to express myself about last night.

Thanks to all of you who made the time and effort to come out to the beach last night. Many of you came a long way just to be there. It was even more special than expected to be able to talk to you all, get to know some of you better, and just have a great time on the beach, on a beautiful dark night with cool weather, many stars and a roaring bonfire (thank you franny and wes for giving us light and warmth). We had a big crowd - about 60 or so - everyone from Grayton Kid and Alphageek to mangos, mers and Kathydwells - our big surprise!!! and many sowallers - oldies and newbies. even Jessifunn's mom came out! It just doesn't get any better.

And for those of you who wanted to come, but could not make it - you were thought of and talked about - I can promise you that! You all had let us know how much you wanted to be there and so you were in spirit. you will make it to the next one. who says we have to do it only once a year?

It was quite a night to remember.

Wish we could have made it last night. Hop's little guy needs to be "Cowboy" because his real name reminds me of a Wild West hero (or villan).

we missed you girlfriend! but at least I got to finally see you yesterday at soccer - and you are looking so fine with that long hair.

Words can't express what a special evening it was. Thanks to everyone for putting in all the effort.

So sorry I did not get to meet Miss Kitty and I can not believe I missed Kathydwells...and I was trying to figure out every way to get you down girl!
Wish I could have stayed longer but we got there about 6:30 and stayed until about 8:30 and had to leave. Next time let's not have the party the same night as a homeowners weekend.

Loved meeting Cork (even if we have met before) and I am going to steal Sunshine...what a precious sweetheart (Sunshine, if you run away call me, I can promise you a new dog park;-) )... Tootsie, Allifunn and IBD are very special souls RO is as cute as I thought he would be as his wife GraytonBound ...RO you make the board so funn, we need more male perspectives around here...well, maybe not Sigh...and I never got to meet the elusive Smiling JOe...hmm...I will track you down one day! As for hop...well ladies...what do ya'll think? Post more hop!
