John R, I didn't know you could find which ships where in an area at a particular time. Cool! Thanks.

I've located them. they are indeed on NCL. The ship called in today at 12:14 and reported delays but no passengers were harmed. NCL was great. They gave me their booking number, room number and ship phone number. They also gave me their itinerary and luckily they had just left Fanning Island about 1000 miles south of Hawaii when the earthquake occurred. They've alread been to all of their ports of call except Kona where they were supposed to arrive tomorrow morning but will most likely be rerouted because Kona is closed. So they'll probably go back to Honolulu for the last 2 days. No big deal. The reason they haven't called is because they've been at sea for 2 days and Fanning Island is outside the US. They are expected to arrive home as scheduled so all is well. I don't even think they're trip will be compromised that much at all and like Uncle Timmy said, they may not even know what's been going on except for the reroute tomorrow AM.

I feel so much better and thank everyone for your prayers and supports . Life is good!

I was unaware of an earthquake and when I read this thread I realized that you had a big reason to be worried. I do not listen/watch the news whatsoever and so I had no idea.

I know you do sweetie and I didn't even take it that way. I generally don't get rattled about too much but I had 2 sisters and a daughter freaking out egging me on and it is unlike my parents not to call someone every day, especially knowing that they could have been at risk. So don't even worry about it girl. EVERYONE LUVS YOU !!!!!:clap_1:

my dad's best friend lives on maui from oct.-april and he told pop they felt their house shake a bit, but not enough to damage anything. my question was which house were they at ? he has a house 6 blocks from the beach, a beachfront condo, and is getting ready to shop for a beachfront house. i am soooo trying to get him to adopt me.
