Poor Audie, poor Dory What kind of dog is Dory? I can't imagine picking up after a sick 125 pound dog. Bad enough to clean up after my 12 pound dog. I have only ever had a small dog, went walking with my friend with a huge dog, she carts out this big plastic bags...I'm like what is that for Nevermind.....

I can relate. Our little Cocker Spaniel was an expert at extracting pills from cheese, peanut butter, etc. She would gobble up the good stuff and hide the pill in a corner of her mouth until we weren?t looking. We?d find the pill a few minutes later on the floor.

If you really want to have a terrifying experience just try to stuff a pill down the cat?s (shown at the left) throat!

Cats ARE the worst at pill taking. They're smart and you just can't pull one over on them!

she's a 125 lb old english sheepdog. and the only one who can pick her up is our friend shawn. he's a really big guy and strong as an ox and she will let him lift her - anyone else gets the teeth !

From the house where we have had three puppies in three years, two who were housebroken until they learned to lift their legs , get some "Nature's Miracle" and Oxyclean. The Nature's Miracle can make a poop stain come right up. Especially the um, looser ones (sorry for TMI). I get it by the gallon at Petsmart.

Then, I like to sprinkle OxyClean right out of the tub on the stain and rub in. Sometimes it looks like sand dunes in my house. Let sit a day or so, then vacuum.

Someone on this board has a husband that invented this amazing carpet cleaner called Capture. (Actually, I know who but am afraid to call her out but she can chime in.) I tried it and it's great. I do that about every two months now.

Finally, when you can't take it anymore, rip up the carpet and put something nonporous down. This thought came to me when I woke up at 3 AM this morning, overwhelmed by the distinct aroma of dog tinkle.

so far we are ok, she has only upchucked once and i think it may have been from peanut butter i was giving her after she took her pills as a treat. i guess it was time to get the carpet shampooer going anyway :roll:
