yeah, i went to work, i have slept 3 hours in the last 3 days, i'm getting so tired but when i lay down my mind just whirls with memories of my big beautiful girl. working helped keep me occupied so i didn't have a lot of time to think about it.

man, i didn't know it was possible to cry this much - i think i am getting dehydrated !!!!

Oh sweetie, you better have a few appletini's to alleviate that dehydration! And cry all you need to - I just wish I was there to lend you my shoulder.

i'm here, and doing ok. we are having a doggy funeral at 9 this morning and she will be buried in the large section of the pet cemetery, the little old sweet lady who runs the cemetery said "honey, you sure had a beautiful dog, just beautiful, but we have a small problem. she's rather large around the middle, and won't fit in our standard casket, so we will have to special make a larger casket to put her in". i couldn't help but laugh, and think about the guy who weighed like a ton, and had to be buried in the top of a piano that was gutted out so he would fit in it. :shock: i got her some nice flowers and we picked out some special things to bury with her, will just be glad when it's over. thanks to everyone for the kind words, it has helped more than you can know....

Oh Audie, I'm so sorry for your loss. I've never met you or Dory, but my heart hurts for all of you. My sister lost her beloved Sammy (12 year old miniature poodle) two Saturdays ago after a bout with lung disease and congestive heart failure, and I still get choked up because I was there when he passed. I'll never forget those beautiful eyes and sweet face.

I haven't been online in a while and am just now getting around to catching up. Funny how attached we get to our pets.....they are so sweet and loyal.

wanted to let everyone know i am feeling a bit better, burying dory gave me a final sense of closure, and it's time to try to move on. i will never ever forget her, but i can't keep thinking about her or i will go crazy. she was taken too soon, but it wasn't my decision. at least i had her for 8 1/2 years.

and miss kitty - i am anxiously awaiting my hug !

btw - i was talking to my sis, and my nephew wanted to talk to me. i asked him how he was and he said "i am sad" i told him i was sad too and asked him what he was sad about. he said, and i quote " because mommy made me wear an ugly shirt to school and i want to beat her up for it" and people wonder why i had my tubes tied :roll:
