Back in the 80's I did own one pair of hammer pants. They were dark teal and black paisely I think. They had a matching top with a built in vest. So cool for the clubs. Oh yeah, it was hot.

Oh my, could we post pics, too? I have to admit, for years I wore MOMMY JEANS (I think that's Oprah's term for them - High waist, straight legs; very unflattering - never again!) Even when I started losing weight and could fit back into some of my old mommy jeans I opted not to. My favorite new jeans are Levi's 505's in a nice faded blue. I generally wear boot cut styles and was a little worried about the straight legs, but I just love them.

OL, I was a teenager in the 70's, the mistakes made in that decade are endless. But, I think the absolute worst (in the early 90s) was the one piece pantsuit that had the big legs that were banded at the ankle with the big white Peter Pan collar. OMG , what was I thinking?

I like flannel shirts.

My fashion right now is jeans, a t-shirt--usually a grey vneck, and chaco sandals, and if it is cold I throw on my favorite North Face jacket which has seen a lot of hikes, biking and kayaking.

A pair of banana yellow heels. :shock: My girlfriends put whip cream and cherries on them so they looked like a banana split one night after lots of drinks and clubbing. :funn:

Granola is the best IMO- BUT---you must stop ironing your jeans. That is NOT granola. That is just wrong.:nono1:

Sometimes I wear granola after breakfast.....but we're probably not talking about the same thing are we?
