Cantonment girl finds needle in Halloween candy


A Cantonment girl found an unpleasant treat in her Halloween candy.
According to the Escambia County sheriff's office, the girl found a needle in a Tootsie Roll she got while trick or treating. She wasn't injured and no other cases have been reported.
But the sheriff's office spokesman warns all parents to check their children's candies before letting them eat it.
The girl's age is not known.

Dylan brought home a memo yesterday about a little seminar being presented by a local police officer concerning online predators. It says that during the seminar they will be in contact with a predator live. It really creeped me out but I know it's something we all need to be more aware of.
