Book Discussion Club

Thanks everyone. I am certainly not interested in a group that excludes anyone...I don't really think this one does, but I am finding it difficult to get much information and I am a serious reader, but even the library people don't seem to know much.....

I don't think the library has anything to do with the book discussion group, other than being the meeting location for the group. I will try to get some info on the reading list and group, and will post it here.

Okay. Perhaps that explains the confusion....thanks, SJ!

As promised, below is more information about the upcoming Booklovers Group meetings.

anyone interested in starting a sowal book club? it must include good books and lots of wine and maybe even food. I do not belong to a book club, because the one I was asked to join is women only, serious discussion with dinner rotating among the members. No thanks. I want wine, some discussion of the book, and just a good group to talk about books in general, etc.

I have been to a certain book party where the members showed up and brought a recommended book, we ate dinner, and drank a load of wine. You could take a look at the books people brought and choose one that interests you, and even ask questions about it (to the person who brought it). Nothing serious, but still some literary discussion.

just a thought.
