I have a wonderful one-bedroom/one bath furnished condo in Gulf Place that just came available for rent. It is an end unit on the top (4th) floor above Miss Lucille's Gossip Parlor with incredible ocean views and professionally decorated, with king-size bed, 2 balconies (one over Smiling Fish Cafe and the other facing the ocean), full kitchen (no dishwasher), (2) TV's, DVD player.

The Inn at Gulf Place is the perfect place to live for a single person (or couple without a lot of "stuff") who might be in transit or looking for a temporary residence while building, going to school, or just the need to "chill at the beach" for a while. Icemaker located on each floor and laundry room on second floor. Thursday night free concerts in "the green" and 3 pools, tennis courts, walking trails, great shops, 2 restaurants... a great life style!

$1200 per month includes EVERYTHING - Rent, utilities, cable, basic phone svc, and access to community recreational facilities. Pet accepted with refundable deposit; First and last month in advance

Hi Sharon,

Gulf Place is a wonderful community on Hwy 30-A and Hwy 393 in Santa Rosa Beach, between Dune Allen and Blue Mountain. The community sits on the north side of 30-A facing the ocean. My condo is a top floor (4th floor) end unit overlooking Ed Walline park and has awesome views with balconies.

A European designed community, there are shops & restaurants on the first level of the buildings, and the other three floors are condos and efficiencies. Through the summer on Thursday nights, there are free concerts on the "green."

In the meantime, keep a lookout for that property while the market's down... rent it out to cover your note (and tax benefits), then when the time's right, come on down and either move in or tear down and rebuild your "dream home." The other stuff will come.
