Re: Alert! Missing Girl at Grayton Beach

She's been found!!!!!! :D Apparently sitting alone at a park bench at topsail (?) Not sure what Topsail is, but my son asked a police officer and that's what they told him. We're staying a few houses down from the pink house, and my son and husband had been riding their bikes around helping to look. I'm so happy they found her.

NOw on to cocktail hour.

   Topsail is a campground. Oh, I am so happy they found her ok.

Re: Alert! Missing Girl at Grayton Beach

Yeah, like ten miles from Grayton, at the west end of 30A.

Well, I didn't know how far it was from Grayton.

Re: Alert! Missing Girl at Grayton Beach

wow that is a long walk from grayton :yikes:
yeah it is, and she must be fast!

I remember this guy from my hometown (in GA), who went fishing one morning, and later that day, they found his boat floating in the water . In a week or so, he was found in TX. We never really heard what was up with that.

Glad the girl is alright.

Re: Alert! Missing Girl at Grayton Beach

Jeeesh, so glad this story has a happy ending. I can't believe she walked that far!
I'm a little suspicious of the info that she was found at Tops'l. I guess it is possible, though. A normal walking speed is 2 mph, and she was gone about 5 hours. I hope she enjoyed the walk and didn't overheat. I hope she was smiling the whole walk. Thankfully, today seemed a little cooler than yesterday, though temps were still in the upper 90's.
