Regional Utilities had a water pipe lose pressure along 30A and have issued a boil water notice for people in the area between Natchez St (Seaside) - Andalusia St (Seagrove).

OH, I thought someone was having a baby.

:funn:
One minute at a rolling boil kills the germs?

I was always told minimum of 3-5, but that was for water directly from natural sources, not the tap. :idontno:

Correct, it is a general safe guard when a utility pipe breaks as there is a possibility of backwash. It's not like a sewage spill near a pump.

Is there another easily accessible source for updates? My paranoia (too many formative years spent avoiding giardia etc. ) is causing dehydration ;-).

scooterbug, you can call Regional Utilities for an update. They are usually behind the curve on getting the announcements out even for the warnings.

According to Regional Utilities, the advisory has been lifted.
