Another eyesore in Destin

It's really an easy fix. Just have a helicopter lift the building and fill in under it.

Maybe the new monster's architect took this into consideration when she included those flat panels on the roof...easy place for the whirleybird to set down at lunch time.

Ya know, it doesn't even seem to matter what they do with Destin anymore; it is pretty much ruined--adding another big box strip mall, fast food joint or high-rise makes no difference. Although the Emerald Grande crumbling in a heap of dust into the Destin Harbor would be a definite improvement. Like one of the commenters, I too live for the day it is declared as uninhabitable and imploded.

There are still plenty of people that enjoy Destin. I for one, really love the harbor. I would rather have a condo overlooking the harbor than a gulf front unit....I just wanna stay on the western end of the harbor ;-)

It's funny, I was visiting a PC rotary club recently and the guest speaker told the story of working on a master plan for Destin and how they 'didn't want Destin to end up like Panama City', which of course was met with a roar of laughter.
