The traffic would drive it. Delta was operating non-stops between Dallas and Ft Walton using ASA in the not too distant past, and the numbers didn't even warrant the use of a regional jet so we ended those flights. That's not to say that it won't happen in the future...

Delta ended just about everything in Dallas, no? AA picked up those routes.

Not so much. Their traffic didn't really increase out of DFW. We downsized out of there for obvious financial reasons, but the best analogy I heard is "you can't wrestle with a 500 pound gorilla (American)."

It's the same reason that no major carriers will move into Atlanta with Delta being here. It's too expensive to fight the home team on their own turf...

Did everyone see the full page ad that the airport had in the NWF Daily News yesterday, to tell everyone that they are NOT closing?

I think they should send the bill to the PCB Chamber.
