The owners of the Ocean Tower condominium building have some serious decisions to make. The 25-story building, still in construction phase, may have structural problems.

Construction has been temporarily halted on the Ocean Towers, north of Andy Bowie Park on South Padre Island, according to Cameron County Building Inspector Noe Benavidez.

“The building has a settling problem. Engineers are trying to figure out what to do about it, how to correct it,” he said.

Yikes, you could not give me something up that high.

I detest high rise and is a another reason I love 30-A; barring the one or two exceptions.

Also love Hilton Head Island for that reason too. 5-6 stories is my limit.

 I know what they can do about it.

Hold an old fashioned "preconstruction-type" lottery (for old-time sake)--only this time, everyone buys a ticket [for about $100 a pop] for the opportunity to push the plunger to implode this "Condo O'Crap" into fodder for an artificial reef.

Put be down for $10,000 worth.
