No! Just come watch the Seaside Parade from my house!
hard to give up the grayton parade. it is so adorable. and its my idea of a down home local good time. this year we actually rode in the back of the truck with rollers in our hair, PJ's, coffee and doughnuts. of course we were armed wtih BA water guns. we decorated the truck in under 10 minutes just before the parade started.
the highlight for me was a guy standing on the side of the road watching the parade (many of the people watching are a parade in and of themselves) - this guy had on the biggest Elvis wig ever! I didn't even know they made 'em that big. we were laughing so hard. while getting him good with our guns. we should have made him get in the truck.

Yes, it was so loud I recall us banging chicken our on heads, then some hand motions and sign language by Kurt to hop on the back of the truck.

The parade sounds like funn and not the battle ground that the evenings are. Maybe you could get a barge of fireworks behind your house?
