After I spent four hours making a Splendid Table dinner -- Shrimp and Avocado with Green Sauce -- why did Skunky eat the dog's food? Why, after two servings of the shrimp and a piece of chili-lime roasted corn, did he feel compelled to eat the whole lamb tenderloin "like a popsicle"?

What kind of person takes food from a starving dog's mouth like that?

Why do you keeping cooking such good and quality food for someone who doesn't appreciate it? Hell I'll even clean up the kitchen after dinner.

Well, I think I just woke up my entire neighborhood. :floor: If that was Ellie's food, Skunky is going to get a letter from my lawyer!

How come no matter how much gas prices go up and down there's always a 10 cent difference between the 3 grades? :idontno:

It probably has something to do with gas stations' gravy. I notice in small, rural areas, there is not the typical ten cent difference between grades -- usu only 3-5 cents.

It's a miracle. I slept for more than four hours last night for the first time since July 16. I am going to live!

1) I spoke too soon. :(

2) I apologize in advance for anything I might say in the next 30 minutes or so.

3) I thought part of The Breakfast Club (NoHall) was up because of the time of a pp message she left. Alas, she has abandoned me.

Sorry you are having sleep problems. It is such a miserable feeling to lie in bed, tossing and turning, and not being able to sleep. I have been on Temazepam for years for insomnia, but still I'd have some sleepless nights if I was worried about something and couldn't get it off my mind. But recently I started taking Lexapro, and I sleep like a log. Plus the dreams are so nice I don't want them to stop. I can wake up from a dream and go right back to sleep and continue the dream. Lately I've been getting about 9-10 hours of sleep a night.

Also it helps me sleep better if I don't have any alcohol, or at least no more than a couple of glasses of wine with dinner.

Careful with those side effects, we'll have to call you sleeps on hood or beats on hood in sleep.
