If Mr. Wise is aware of your posts and allows it, he is not the man for the job.

BTW....My long ago scheduled committment did not allow me to attend. And no one is trying to harness you....where did that come from???? You are very free to say what you want......but you are not helping Mr. Wise.

Continue on.........
Seems all has been said, in my opinion.........the part about not trying to harness me was in re to you saying something to the effect that I should be careful what I say. What do you mean and allows it? What century do you live in? My husband doesn't censor me.....if yours does you, then you should rebel! lol. S. Maxi Wise

Ok, guys we know where one other person was!!! Still 72 unaccounted for!

So what did you all think of the pics? I know someone is going to say something rude now! No doubt. (One of you meanies)!:D Dennis doesn't pay attention to this site anymore, as he usually just gets annoyed, and he don't like to be annoyed, he likes to be happy. Imagine that! SW

MAKE THE WISE CHOICE YOUR CHOICE

What do you mean and allows it? W

I'm sure she was referencing the fact that you are posting under your husband's name and photo, which makes it appear at first that it is he who is doing the posting. Even if you sign your name to the bottom of the post it can be confusing. You can always get your own signon, while putting your husband's picture in the avatar, and including all the campaign links you desire. That way no one will confuse your words for his.

Bear in mind, you are the one who called the post of a very unhappy wife "condescending". You and many others on this board can dish it out but when it goes against your attitudes, wishes and wants, it is automatically all wrong and you can't take it. I'm really sorry it is that way but it is. If your vote is to be determined by one very pissed off wife, and in my opinion, after reading the posts concerning this situation, rightly so, good for you and all your like thinking members on this board. There are some of us who have a different view of the goings on in this country. It is our right to have those attitudes just as much as your right to oppose them. I will continue to express my viewpoint and opinions in this forum as long as it allows such freedom of expression. I will attempt to do it with dignity and civility, though at times some posters make this very difficult. I like this board and the people on it, but as in real life there are some I cannot abide. I shall respond in kind when confronted by irresponsible and posts so far out of line as to be unacceptable. Do we understand each other?

I would think they would read all the way to the bottom each time and see my name and know that way. I say that's much easier, as I have no idea how to make a signon!!! I guess I just don't know the rules of etiquette when it comes to an election. Told ya he wasn't a politician in the negative sense of the word, and I tell you, I am no politician's wife....in the negative sense of the word. So vote for Dennis Wise if you feel he is the right choice......(the Wise Choice) and not if you don't. Don't not vote for him because of something I said for pete's sake! Shoulda been a big turn out today! We were disappointed to say the least. Most of the 72 others live in SOWAL....you know it's true. In fact there were more like 90 instead of 80 views, so that many knew they were invited. Sheila Wise

Giving some sort of award to Bill O'Reilly is a total negative for me. Famous does not equal credible or intelligent. But if that what Bill is to you, then it says volumes.

Good luck with the campaign.

My friend, you have every right to say whatever you wish, as long as it is not libelous or slanderous and does not harm the greater public good. However, the comments of the candidate's wife are frankly out of line, no matter who you support.:yikes: These candidates are in essence applying for a job. We are the employers!!! Who would talk to their spouse's prospective employers in such a way? No one who wanted to be hired.:idontno: I also reserve the right to say anything I choose during this job interview process as long as it fits the legal guidelines. Those who do not wish to participate in the process should not enter the fray.:bang:

I guess it depends on your point of view as to whether Shiela Wise's comments are out of line. She is not running and entitled to say what she wants and you, IW, are no one to be citing what any response on this board should be, IMO. Yours are often as negative as mine, if not more so. He is applying for a job. You are only one of many employers. I spoke at length with Mr. Wise today. As I said in an earlier post, he has no axe to grind. He is not seeking power. He is not seeking salary as he is financially secure. His sole purpose in seeking the office of sheriff is to serve the citzens of Walton county in the best possible way. There are too many powerful people and too many who don't give a dang for Dennis to be elected. And to me that is a real shame.

Andy my friend, you may consider yourself to be "negative" but I prefer to consider myself a "realist.":floor: I never meant to imply that I was the only employer, but I am one of thousands. However, the post in question was not directed at me (I assume) but at us all. Whatever Mr. Wise's/Ms. Wise's motivations, if this is the type of attitude we can expect, then what is the difference from what we have allready?:bang: The "shame" is that in person Mr. Wise does not give off these vibes at all but seems engaging. But in a close race, every action could cost the election. That is reality.:idontno:
