Clinton speech

Bill Clinton just enumerated at the DNCC all of the reasons that this registered republican will be voting for Barak Obama in this election. John McSame just doesn't have what it takes to make the changes we desperately need right NOW. This republican party is NOT the conservative party of Reagan and may never be again, sorry to say.

All of President George W. Bush's policies stink. If you're not mad as hell, you're just not paying attention!!

Senator McCain is simply more of the same. Let's not make the same mistake 3 times in a row!!!!! PLEASE

The highlight- when he talked about showing the rest of the world "the power of example, not example by power".

He was very clear about supporting Obama, and that the Hillary supporters better get their big girl panties back on and get behind him, instead of being like the mealymouthed Hillary supporter/woman scorned in that ridiculous McCain ad. I mean really- is anybody buying that crock of caca?

.

My 16 yr. old daughter had just come into the room in time to hear this line. She said "That's good!". I was so glad she could quickly recognize the importance of that statement. It sums up so much.

There was a lot of meat in his speech as well as in Biden's. And John Kerry's! - I wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised....

Thanks, Analogman. It was interesting to see the registered republicans at the local Obama meeting. You would think that McCain has the lock on the Hillary supporters voting for him, but he really needs to be concerned about the Republicans that have had enough and voting for Obama. There is a significant number out there.

I am aware that everyone here believes in the I don't believe it until I see the pole but a recent pole in Walton county showed that 84 percent would vote for McCain. Walton county will once again deliver for the Republican candidate.

I don't think the poll you quote is accurate at all. If it is it prompts me to say this:
Do the research and THINK...and I don't mean just watch FOX (alleged) news.
Vote for something you believe in, an ideal, not because someone (a political party) told you to do so.
Are you doing better than you were 7 years ago?
Do you think America is doing better than it was 7 years ago?
Thousands of military families don't think so!
Practically the entire rest of the world doesn't think so!!
Don't just vote for a party. That's why we are in such a mess right now...DON'T YOU GET IT?!!!

FYI - we don't like big letters.

I thought Joe Biden started off very well with the family stuff. If he had left it at that, I would have been impressed. Instead, I suddenly felt like I was in the kool-aid church with all of the chanting about McCain. There are some truths in what he was saying, but many of the comparisons were taken out of context, which is often the case in poliTRICKS. I've always said that based on anyone's vote on any Bill, one could come to opposing conclusions on "how" the politician voted, based on who described the vote.

Biden is in Congress. Surely he and the other ruling Dems in Congress could have stopped Bush, by not giving Bush power in the first place. Patriot Act also comes to mind. I guess Bush and McCain pushed that through by themselves. The President doesn't act alone. Congress also has a say, yet as a whole, they tend to agree with Bush on many things, looking at votes alone. They will preach one thing, and vote however they want, because most people never look at how they vote, and if you have ever read any Bill in its entirety, you will know that it is almost impossible to understand what a Bill fully means.

Many stated that my reports on polls were wrong on the Sheriff and D5 races as well - some cried out BS as well. They were both right. The numbers shifted slightly but both fortold who would win.

I am really not making this stuff up.
