What does Palin have to hide?

New posts
Do I agree with him and what has happened the last 4 years? No, but he is our President, so I will respect him accordingly.

Respect for the Office of President is one thing--the person who occupies the office is an entirely diffrerent matter. That person has to earn, and keep, the respect of the people he has sworn to serve.

IMO this President has fallen far short and does not deserve my respect; in fact, if anything, it is he who has disrespected both the Office of President and the Constitution of the country, along with the people who trusted him. He must be held accountable.

The change in the way things were going in this country came after the 2006 election when the Democrats took control of congress & determined to go against everything that would be good for the country in order to win this Presidential election.:bang:

really? I won't go back as far as the decider's inauguration day, I'll be generous and give you till 9/11. His behavior has been criminal; Wmd(or lack thereof), signing statements, Iraq, Afghanistan, torture, denial of habeas corpus, Katrina, US Attorneys, etc, etc. He's made a mockery of the office and the constitution. He's screwed the pooch, and it will take at least a decade for us to get things back together. It appears McCain would follow right behind him

Bush is lucky as hail not to be impeached, imprisoned and/or thrown out by now. He has done everything in his power to disrespect the people of this country. and we have the right to not respect him.

Palin has done no harm (beyond alaska) yet. may it stay that way. She is not a bad person, by any means. Nor Bush for that matter. it is a matter of leadership qualification. if a person, such as Bush, is not qualified to fill the office of President, then he will lead the country down the tubes. Leadership is so critical. I still cannot fathom why half of america saw Bush as anywhere near qualified to be President. I will never be able to wrap my mind around that one.

I do not want mccain, especially with the palin pick, but will be relieved no matter who is elected, when Bush finally exits the white house.

Did anyone see Rachel's show tonight where she compared Palin to Cheney? It was hilarious! and scary.

Obviously you & I are not going to agree on much in this political campaign.:D

The idea that John McCain will follow right behind GW is ridiculous. John McCain has bucked horns with GW on many occaisions. They are two very different men with two very differnt ways of doing things.

Yea, less than 1 out of 10 times. These guys are SO different:floor:

Sometimes the thinking is, "If someone is going to get this money it might as well be us." In the past the Walton county has taken many grants for things which benefit the general public. My husband, who was a commissioner at one time, always felt that many times it is a misuse of tax dollars, however, would rather have the money spent here than another part of the state.

...and this is a principled attitude? If it is misuse, then the principled thing to do is stand up for the principle of misuse! Geez....
