It's not. I need to change my sheets, my oil and my brakes.
My serious answer is that it's the fear of the unknown. Sometimes we would rather keep the bad way we do things than risk the inconvenience, pain, or failure of doing it another way. (And no, I'm not talking about the election.)

We should figure out how to turn it into a Christmas ornament. It would need a pretty big limb to hold it though.
