I don't really care what it runs through. However when I need to fly I will most likely use the new airport since it will only be about 20 minutes from my home as opposed to 45 minutes to 1 hour for VPS.

It will be nirvana if they can get some good flights/carriers in. Schedules are pretty sparse - I really miss the AA flight from VPS to Chi-town at this time of year!
