Once again, the decorations come out for all to enjoy. We certainly love to see them, however, as the trend goes, they are all white. No color! What's the deal? How can an artist community be so bland? You would think quite opposite! We should have spectacular displays of all colors! Is there some sort of punishment if anyone dares to put up a color?

I understand 100% but there is something that i find "artsy" about plain white.

Where are you talking about?

:floor::floor:
Individuals expressing individuality and artistic creativity when decorating their yards!

As was stated above why can't they do that with white lights? Personally I prefer a monochromatic lighting source on my Christmas tree and let the ornaments reflect and create color.

As for outdoors, it's real easy to start looking like a Vegas sign with multi-color lights.

It's all a matter of taste - I personally think the white lights look very pretty outdoors, especially on a larger display colors can get garish/uncoordinated looking!

I like colored lights on my christmas tree though.

Colored lights are coming back in, but there aren't too many people running out and buying new decorations this year. I think there are other things to be complaining about.

Art as an expression of individuality... what does it mean to you? How do you feel about it? What is pleasing to your eye? It is irrelevant what someone else thinks about it. Imagination at work!
