My 70 year old mom and her twin sister are on FB and are having a blast- their friends, my friends, pictures, grandchildren and family news- much easier than trying to individually e-mail everyone.
Now if somebody is FB friends with a nice gentleman, age 65-80, let me know- I can check out potential man friends for my mom on FB. She has a few simple requirements: no canes, walkers, oxygen tanks, recent surgeries, chronic conditions that would be the sole topic of conversation, short gym/bike shorts or small swim trunks, excessive nosehair, dumb hats or tank tops. Owning a 3 wheeled trike is a plus. Being able to keep up with mom on the trike is a double plus.
